Since each ceramic vessel is made by hand some small size and color irregularities within the ceramic are common and make each vessel unique. Our ceramics are suitable for candle making, however different factors - such as wick size, wax type, and fragrances or additives - can effect the burn, so we always recommend trying a small sample quantity prior to making any large orders. [First Use & Extended Care] Prior to first use, ceramic pieces should be hand washed individually in warm soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried with a lint free cloth.
