The T Shop is Lakewood's premier neighborhood gift and flower shop founded by Lori Trent in 2009. The Trent family has called Lakewood home for over 30 years and has loved being active in the community (one of their favorite family traditions is attending the Lakewood 4th July Parade!).
Lori grew up in Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she studied Advertising and French. Shortly after, she moved to Texas with her husband, Matthew Trent, and they started a new chapter together, opening Matthew Trent Jewelry in 1988. While Matthew was working at the bench creating his one-of-a-kind designs, Lori managed the business and advertising side of the studio.
Many years later, Lori started a gift shop section for parties at the Cedar Springs location. In 2009, they decided to move Matthew Trent to its current location in Preston Center and Lori saw this as an opportunity to open her first stand-alone gift shop in Lakewood... and the rest is history!
Today, The T Shop has grown into the neighborhood Happy Place, offering more than just gifts, seasonal flowers and succulents. The Tshop has become a neighborhood favorite. Located in the heart of Lakewood in the Deiner Mills building that once housed the Lakewood Library.
